- Owners of Lifespan Help Rebuild School in Fiji
Pam Goodman, RN and Becky Peters, RN participated in an International Rotary Project in April, 2009. Along with Rotarians from Taveruni, Fiji and Maketu, New Zealand, the Capitola/Aptos Rotary Club sent a group of volunteers to a remote area in Fiji. In Vuna Village, the group worked for a week to refurbish a dilapidated elementary school.

Name Dropping Column, Oct. 19, 2008 - Lifespan celebrates 25 years of quality elder care in Santa Cruz County
Lifespan celebrated its 25th anniversary on April 18, 2008 with a gathering of elder community partners, employees, relatives and friends at the Chaminade Resort. Amidst the festivities, Santa Cruz County Supervisor Ellen Pirie presented Lifespan owners Becky Peters and Pam Goodman with a County Proclamation, honoring Lifespan for its many contributions to elders in Santa Cruz County. Lifespan also received a Joint Resolution from the State Legislature in recognition of the quality and extent of the care Lifespan has provided to elders and their families since 1983.
