Becky Peters and Pam Goodman launched Lifespan in 1983 because they saw a need in their community to better serve the aging population. Both had been working as RN's and knew that there was a component in the continuum of care that was missing. Lifespan was born. And over twenty-five years later, Lifespan continues to be a leader in geriatric care management.

Lifespan was one of the first geriatric care management agencies on the West Coast. As pioneers and leaders, Peters and Goodman were a part of the first group of Geriatric Care Managers certified through testing and experience as Certified Care Managers (CMC). Their aging expertise adds professional oversight to all of Lifespan's services.

Ms. Peters and Ms. Goodman volunteer their time and energy to many community boards related to older persons in the community. Lifespan maintains membership and participation in the American Society on Aging, National Association of Geriatric Care Management, National Guardianship Association, and National Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
