About the Lifespan Team:
We are proud of our diverse and accomplished team here at Lifespan. The care management team has over 130 years of combined experience in the field of health care. Our team members strive to help our clients live at their highest level of functioning and remain as independent as possible with the best quality of life. Below is an introduction to some of the wonderful members of the Lifespan team.
Becky Herry, RN - Lifespan Care Manager
Becky Herry attended the University of Hawaii, and received her RN from Cabrillo College. Becky has over 20 years experience in the field of health care. Her specialties include Geriatric Care, Telemetry, Cardiology, and Veteran Care. She is currently working towards obtaining her Geriatric Care Management Certification. Becky is Lifespan's Veteran Administration Care Specialist.
Ute Howland, MSW, CMC - Lifespan Care Manager
Ute Howland received her BA in Social Work and her MSW in Social Work from San Jose State University. Ute has 5 years experience in the field of geriatrics and mental health. Additionally, she has training in mediation and conflict management. Ute is currently working towards her LCSW licensing (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) as well as her Geriatric Care Management Certification.
Patti Petroff, RN - Lifespan Care Manager
Patti Petroff received her BA in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. Patti has 10 years of experience in the field of health care services including counseling pre-emancipated foster youth and working with families during the reunification process, adult psychiatric care in long term care facilities, and nursing. Patti received her RN from Cabrillo College and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Geriatric Care Manager.
Alicia Cortez-Moreno, CNA, HHA - Supervisor, Staffing Department
Alicia Cortez-Moreno is a Certified Nurse Assistant and Home Health Aide and has worked with Lifespan for 12 years. She started at Lifespan as a Home Care Aide and made such a positive impact on the staffing department she quickly escalated her position to supervisor. As supervisor of the staffing department and home care staff, her primary role at Lifespan is to ensure that our home care aides are appropriately matched to each client. She provides additional training and support to the home care aides and makes visits to the client's homes to monitor the care being provided by our home care aides.
Saundie Isaak, MS, CMC - Director of Geriatric Services
Ms. Isaak has 20 years of experience in the field of health care services including neuro-rehabilitation, children's psychiatric care, and senior retirement and assisted living community management. Ms. Isaak received her BA in Therapeutic Recreation from CSU, Fresno and her MS in Health Services Administration from St. Mary's College of Moraga. Additional credentials include Geriatric Care Manager certification. Ms. Isaak serves on the board of directors for the local non-profit, Health Projects Center.
