Susan and I cannot express enough our thanks for the wonderful caregivers we met through this 3 year journey. There were rough spots and you hung in there with us. Lifespan has been caring for my mother for over six years now. My mother is suffering from both vascular dementia and Parkinson's and thus is sometimes extremely hostile and difficult to deal with. I never thought I'd find an agency that would begin to even try to deal with her (serveral local ones declined). Well not only has Lifespan found serveral aides that take excellent care of her, but one or two that she gets along with extremely well. She is getting out, seeing the sights and enjoying life much more (and complaining a lot less) than even before her dementia started. Sometimes she even goes on overnight trips with the aides. She is receiving the best care that can ever be imagined.
Lifespan administration has always been efficient and professional. My mother sees quite a few doctors now and never misses an appointment; I am always kept up to date on her condition; and Lifespan will even act as a patient advocate if necessary (and if you have had a reletative with dementia, you know that sometimes the docotrs can make the problem even worse, as they have a tendency to dismiss the dementia in the early stages, which can make you life pretty hard).
In summary, I feel that I can trust Lifespan in every way and am thrilled that they are managing my mother's care.
