We’re HIRING Home Care Aides
Being a Home Care Aide at Lifespan is a rewarding and exciting opportunity for the right person. Our Home Care Aides assist aging persons with a range of activities of daily living including personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility support, errands, and light housekeeping. Care shifts are available in increments from 3 to 12 hours. Flexible hours, on-the-job training, professional development opportunities, and a friendly and supportive work environment combine to make this position a great option for people who care about people.
We’re HIRING Well-Being Activity Coordinators
Our Well-Being Activity Coordinators help aging persons with life activities that younger people often take for granted. Well-Being services provide support with hobbies, social outings, home organization, escort to physician appointments and more. Assistance with arranging home repairs, care of pets, gardening, learning to use smart phones and computers, and fitness activities have also been helpful to our clients.
This program is growing quickly and we are eager to hire additional Well-Being Activity Coordinators to increase and enhance our services.

Lifespan has been a sponsor of the Alzheimer's Walk since its inception 25 years ago! We are dedicated to serving the aging population in Santa Cruz County which includes an increasing number of families facing the challenges of dementia. While we currently aim to provide support, social engagement, and respite we believe strongly is contributing toward finding the means to prevent, delay, and treat Alzheimer's and related dementia's. We hope that you will join us in this effort and we thank you for doing so.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your stellar customer service during my father's time of need. His hospitalization occurred without warning and I found myself scrambling for after care resources. Lifespan was one of a half dozen offerings I contacted, yet you were the quickest responder to my needs. You reached out by phone and email, offering a compassion not felt by other later responders. You were quick to provide services that may apply to my father's situation and explain in detail so I could envision the big picture. You sent me pricing information and a contract quickly so I could review and you were extremely responsive to my follow-up questions. All of these actions helped me emotionally to feel like I was not alone in my father's plight.
