Specialty Care

Dementia Support

We offer calm, confident, and compassionate care for individuals with dementia-related conditions. Our home care aides are trained in communicating with and providing assistance to people with all levels of cognitive decline. Particular attention is paid when matching home care aides to persons with dementia to allow for the highest level of client comfort.

Hospice Support

We coordinate with local hospice organizations to provide enhanced support to families caring for loved ones at the end of life. All home care aides who tend to hospice patients receive specialized training for this sensitive care. Adding Lifespan to your care team relieves families of some day-to-day caregiving so they may focus on other important tasks and spend quality time with their loved one.

Care for Veterans

Lifespan is proud to partner with the Veterans Administration (VA) to provide services to qualifying veterans in need of assistance.

For Everyone’s Safety

All staff are trained in universal precautions and safety measures specific to preventing the spread of COVID-19. All employees meet State of California fingerprinting and training requirements and are bonded and insured.

We Hire Quality and Experience

Lifespan home care aides and activity coordinators are carefully selected following an extensive testing and interview process. As of 2016, our hiring process meets all of the requirements of the Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act which involves fingerprint clearance through both the Department of Justice and FBI and initial and ongoing training. We look for employees who have a caring personality, patience, and a strong work ethic. Lifespan is proud of our team of aides who are dedicated, experienced, and compassionate.
